Worlds Largest Mobile Phone

Measuring 2.50 x 1.14 x 0.49 metres, the fully functional scaled-up Sony Ericsson W810i has broken the existing record that was first established by the Maxi Handy at the Rotmain Centre, Bayreuth, Germany in 2006.

Head of the MTN Sciencentre Julie Cleverdon says; “We are thrilled with the achievement, which is the result of a collaboration of efforts between the MTN Sciencentre, Ericsson and Sony Ericsson.”
